Easter week schedule
First off, I'm sorry about missing the Armin broadcast from Israel, but I was literally passed out sick in bed at the time of the broadcast, so I didn't even get to listen to it from Basicbeats.. that's why I provided a link in that previous update :)

Ash Wednesday A-list: All Astrid and Armin van Buuren Wednesday & Thursday
Good Friday Ferry: All Ferry Corsten sets & albums Friday into Saturday
Resurrection Weekend Tiesto: Saturday through Sunday into Monday 100% Tiesto :)
also of course I'll be doing the regular broadcast of A State of Trance with Armin van Buuren Thursday live at 2pm eastern time followed by the replay of the previous week's show.

New Music Weekend has begun! + possibly AvB live from Israel
I got permission from the guys at Basicbeats.net to simulcast their broadcast of Armin van Buuren live from Israel if it happens today. I'm beginning to think I might not be able to relay it though.. Basicbeats only has like 7 or 8 128kps streams, and they're only in Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, and Australia. I have been attempting to listen all morning and I can only get a solid signal from ONE of their streams. Hopefully in the future I can get to know the guys and help them out.. obviously they need better US servers. If anybody reading this is friends with anybody on Basicbeats.net staff please let me know I would love to start a dialogue with them.
The New Music Block kicked off hard with Tiesto and Above & Beyond from WMC miami. Also in the mix are (always assume Armin) Ferry Corsten, Amir Hamami, Oakenfold, Michael De Heij, Johan Gielen, Tillman Uhrmacher, Darren Tate, Hemmastck and Jennings, and much more! stay tuned :)
Oh plus I figured out I'm a complete retard and forgot to change the "live simulcast" title from yesterday. Why didn't somebody tell me! :) oh well what can you do.
I've also got a great gimmick for music through the Easter holiday starting Wednesday. Check back Monday for more info ;)

NO MORE SKIPPING! ASOT relay tomorrow 14:00 EST
I finally figured out what was wrong with the radio skipping! It was a bandwith issue that I've since resolved. Should be NO MORE SKIPPING or BUFFERING! I'm really sorry about all that.. I really though the problem was outside my network until today.. and now it's fixed! :)
This means of course that we are ON for the live relay of Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance show on ID&T radio Thursday afternoon at 1400 (2pm) EST, 11am Pacific. Followed by a replay of LAST week's show. Don't miss it!

All your -1 are belong to us
Many of you have reported the "-1" issue with the song title, and we're doing out best to correct the problem. You should no longer see "-1" ever again, however there will be times this website is unable to retreive the currently playing song. In the event that this occurs, you will see the string "ETS-Global 2003" this does not mean the stream itself is broken in any way shape or form, so listen and enjoy away.

Dance Valley pix
Couple quick things - I think we're still go for the simulcast of ID&T for Astrid's show Wednesday. Also trying to line up something live for this weekend.
I found some pictures taken at the Dance Valley party in Miami that I went to - first off here's one of Astrid and another of Astrid
Next up here's one of Misja Helsloot
and finally one of me, Melissa, and Diane and the record Astrid gave me! (yes that's her standing right next to me)
I also decided to fire back up the GUESTMAP. It only holds 100 entries at a time but still it's cool to see where everybody is listening from :)
**ASTRID - If you read this I'm a retard I can't figure out your email address please email me

Miami was AWESOME! & Astrid is a goddess :)
OH MY GOD! The Dance Valley party was the best party I have EVER BEEN TO. EVER! Ultra paled in comparison. First off, the talent was perfect. Getting to see Cor Fijneman, Misja Helsloot, and most importantly Astrid was just the best, but it was even better because it was such an intimate setting. The DJ "booth" was just a table at the end of the bar, so I was able to just stand there 2 feet away from them watching them spin. Furthermore, the DJs would stand around hanging out before and after their sets! Meeting Misja and Cor was great, but you all know what a huge Astrid fan I am and she turned out to be SO nice I was just blown away. It's not every day you get to meet someone on your "top 5" list, AND have them be really cool to you! I told her what a big fan I was and we chatted for a little bit and she wound up giving me a souvenir and signing it for me! I don't collect things and I'm not fanatical about much of anything except music, but I have a new most prized possession. I wasn't even fucked up on anything but I couldn't stop thanking Astrid and telling her how cool she was.. I hope I didn't weird her out acting like a starry eyed little teenager :) I swear I NEVER get like that but it was just.. I don't give a crap about movie stars I only idolize trance DJs but you usually never get to MEET them. much less hang out with them. too awesome. oh well, Astrid is the HOTTEST woman on the planet and I got to tell her that :) The fact that she's such an awesome DJ just makes her even more perfect :) Astrid, I love you... you're awesome and your music means SO much to me. Thank you. just.. thank you. I don't know what else to say other than I can't wait for her to play in the US again I'm going to try my hardest to go see her or any of those DJs if they come back.. especially near Atlanta. You just can't beat the dutch trance DJs... they're the best in the world! but some of them haven't even played the US before and the crowd was small... only the HARDCORE dutch fans (like myself) knew who they all were. If you haven't seen Astrid, Cor Fijneman, Misja Helsloot, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Michael De Hey, or Johan Gielen (I know we all already love Tiesto) then DEFINITELY check them out if you ever get a chance.. it will be SO worth it!
Here's DJ Astrid's Official Homepage
Also I met Suzy Solar who spun a really cool album called 'The Perfect Trance' she's going to be spinning at the Goddess 4 in Atlanta on April 5 as their Goddess of Trance. Suzy and her manager were both really cool as well and I might even be able to get her to spin live for the radio! I made several contacts with DJs who are supposed to be sending me samples and possibly be spinning live on my radio... so look forward to that!

Ultra on Saturday? blah. it was hot, humid, then it rained.. ick. The crowd was HUGE and I've never been right in the middle of so many fans that are loving the music as much as me. Oakie was weak as usual but Tiesto was there to show the world just what a master of Trance is all about.
ok that's enough rambling for now.. I just had to get all that out and tell you all what a great time I had at Dance Valley hanging out with those DJs. Keep it real, I'll start working on a New Music Block for this weekend.. looks promising!
